As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and in alignment with Hiyoshi’s corporate motto, “No company exists without social contributions and competence,” we have been conducting the Hiyoshi International Internship Program annually since 2007. This program is designed for students across India pursuing studies in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology and related disciplines.
We are pleased to announce that the Hiyoshi International Internship Program 2026 received an overwhelming response, with 1,253 applications from students representing prestigious institutions across India.
Following a rigorous selection process, 10 candidates were shortlisted for the final round. Based on their interview performance and overall evaluation, two candidates have been selected for this year’s internship program in Japan. The selected candidates are expected to travel to Japan in May 2026 and will return to India upon completion of a two-month internship program in July 2026.
Out of the 10 finalists, the remaining 7 candidates will be awarded a Letter of Appreciation in recognition of their dedicated efforts in preparing and submitting detailed reports addressing current environmental challenges.

- Ms. Anushka Harish – Department of Biotechnology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka
