Chennai, 22 September 2026 – Hiyoshi India Ecological Services Private Limited (Hiyoshi India) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai marking an important step towards strengthening collaboration between industry and academia in the field of environmental engineering and sustainable technologies.
The MoU was formally signed by representatives of Hiyoshi India and SIMATS Engineering in the presence of faculty members and officials from both organizations.
The partnership aims to create a platform for meaningful collaboration in environmental engineering, water and wastewater treatment technologies, research and development, industrial training, internships, skill development, knowledge sharing and technical training programmes.
Through this collaboration, students will have opportunities to gain practical exposure to industry practices, strengthen their technical and professional skills and develop a better understanding of real-world environmental challenges. The partnership will also support students in becoming better prepared for the evolving requirements of the environmental and engineering sectors.
The MoU further provides opportunities for both organizations to explore joint research and development initiatives, innovative environmental solutions and sustainable technologies that can create value for industry, academia and society.
