As part of the Hiyoshi International Internship Program 2026, two Indian interns Mr. Atharva Rajshekhar Dindure (Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh) and Ms. Anushka Harish (Department of Biotechnology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka) successfully delivered technical presentations at Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS), Kameoka, Kyoto, Japan on 7th July 2026.
The presentations were attended by members of Hiyoshi Corporation’s Technical and Research & Development Planning Department and focused on two important environmental research topics: “Case Study of Heavy Metals in Turmeric” and “Case Study of PFAS Contamination in Chennai, India.”
The internship program provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain international exposure, present their research in a global academic environment, interact with technical experts and enhance their knowledge of environmental and food safety challenges.
