Mr. Rinsei Suzuki and Dr. Mayilsamy from Hiyoshi India attended a seminar on career opportunities and professional growth in Japanese companies organized by the Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM), the Japanese Endowed Courses (JEC) and The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), held on 19 June 2026 at GReaT Ceremonies by GRT Hotels, Chennai.
The JIM and JEC schemes are joint initiatives of the Governments of Japan and India aimed at developing manufacturing-related human resources in India. A Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) was signed between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Government of Japan to promote these initiatives.
The program was highly beneficial for Japanese companies operating in India and supported the development of human resources in line with Japanese working standards. The presentations delivered during the event were informative, practical and valuable particularly for young professionals aspiring to build careers in Japanese organizations.
Additionally, the event provided an excellent opportunity to interact with distinguished professionals and the companies actively contributing to the promotion and development of the JIM and JEC schemes in India.
